美国对朝鲜海上禁运，朝鲜认为战争信号
继朝鲜发射另外一枚洲际导弹后，美国国务卿表示为制裁朝鲜可能会对其实行海上封锁。朝鲜听闻后，警告美国这样做会进一步促进朝核战争的爆发。
朝鲜在11月底时隔两个月发射了另外一枚洲际导弹，令地区局势再度趋紧。在此过后，美国和其他西方国家深刻谴责了这一行为，表示会对朝鲜实行进一步的制裁。此前，美国国务卿蒂勒森(Rex Tillerson)更是宣布：美国可能会对朝鲜实行海上封锁。
朝鲜听闻后，对美国发出警告：特朗普针对朝鲜实行海上封锁，这是逼迫朝鲜进行核战争的“危险的一步”。
据某知名外媒报道，朝鲜国家通讯社KCNA在本周四（12月14号）讽刺性地表示：特朗普正在准备对朝鲜实行海上封锁，这无疑是让朝核战争向前“迈进了一大步”。
KCNA称：朝鲜此前发射洲际弹道导弹并进行核试验，美国这次准备对朝实施海上封锁就是对这一系列事件的报复，但是美对朝实施的这种制裁“侵犯了朝鲜的主权和尊严”，这是一种战争挑衅，朝鲜将采取“无情的自卫措施”。
自从11月末朝鲜发射了据说是另外一个洲际导弹之后，朝鲜和西方，尤其是美国的关系更为紧张。
朝鲜发出威胁：现在导弹已经能够到达美国大陆，而且他们也能够将核弹头附在导弹上了，尽管这一点还没有得到证实。
蒂勒森还发言表示：“朝鲜不懈地追求核武器和其运载工具的研发，这种局势必须扭转。国际社会必须向朝鲜发出统一警告，要求其必须放弃大规模杀伤性武器的计划，所有国家也必须对朝鲜继续执行严格的经济和外交措施。”
他补充说：除了执行联合国所有现行制裁措施外，国际社会还必须采取更多措施加强海上安全，“包括海上交通运输权的限制：禁止从朝鲜或向朝鲜运送货物。”
当然蒂勒森也表示：朝鲜仍然有外交选择权，美国仍就致力于用和平手段来实现无核化，结束朝鲜的好战举动。”
同时，本周四(12月14日)，朝鲜中央情报局也表示：朝鲜作为一个拥有核武器的国家，会履行其保证不扩散核武器的承诺。
