因美联储不断提升市场对其在今年6月的加息预期，国际金价延续了昨日收盘后电子交易时段以来的跌势。自1259.10美元/盎司低开后，虽在亚盘初期小幅升至1262.30美元/盎司日高，但仍处于平盘下方。此后金价便一路震荡下行，并在美股开盘前夕录得1244.60美元/盎司日低，同时也是4月28日以来最低水平。不过，随后因美股下跌，金价收复部分日内失地至1259.10美元/盎司。
与此同时，美国COMEX 7月白银期货价格周四收盘下跌63.9美分，跌幅3.7%，报16.493美元/盎司，录得4月18日以来最低收盘价。
周四，黄金期货价格走低，并且收至三周来最低价位，延续了周三收盘后电子交易时段以来的跌势，因美联储不断提高6月加息的概率，这严重的挫伤了黄金的需求。
目前，美国的金融环境已经回到了去年加息前的水平，这意味着市场环境已经自今年年初以来有的大幅度的改善。今年年初，由于市场极度的恐慌情绪，阻碍了美联储在今年一季度的加息进程。同时，强烈的避险情绪使得黄金在今年第一季度时飞起。自今年年初以来，金价已经上涨了逾20%。
