黄金期货采取保证金交易模式，首次入金越高，保证金比例反而相应减小，反之首次入金越低，保证金比例反而相应增大，例如入金30000元的保证金比例为12%，入金80000元保证金比例可低至6%或7%，相应的杠杆放大效用也随之增大，因此投资黄金期货时，我们应视乎个人的资金实力而定，当资金实力较为薄弱时，保证金比例是较大的，由此能控制杠杆倍数放大造成的风险，切忌为了搏取更大的交易权而单次投入过大本金，最终在重仓情况下一旦单子与行情反向将引发巨大亏损。
顺势而为
金价在不同时段中都受不同的消息面影响，这些消息面既有利好，又有利空，由于黄金期货的双向交易特性，因此可根据消息对行情的指引顺势而为，确定合适手数后就可尝试持仓进场，只要抓对行情某一波段的单边走势，就能获取该范围内价差收益。
做好止盈止损
设定止盈止损要求投资者学会分析具体的金价变动范围，可通过对技术盘面的形态分析以及一些常用的技术指标，例如K线、MACD或布林带等指标，对某个交易周期中的金价走势进行分析，并结合前人总结出来的经典K线形态加以验证。由此确认金价的相对高低点作为压力和支撑位，根据这些位置设定止盈止损即可。
