1：100的浮动杠杆比例
对于炒黄金投资，现在国际上大部分，比如伦敦金都是采用1：100的浮动杠杆比例。当然，也会因为伦敦金投资公司设定的杠杆比例差异而定。
1：100杠杆比例，就好比黄金价格为1000美元/盎司，买一手（一手就是100盎司）就需要100000美元，如果利用保证金交易，就只需要交1000美元的保证金就可以了，即1000美元的保证金实际操作100000美元的交易权。此时利润也就放大了。相当于放大了100倍。在浮动机制下，1000美元的保证金能够交易实际价值大于100000美元的伦敦金，杠杆比例高于100倍，资金利用率更佳。
其他比例杠杆
不同于国际大部分的杠杆比例，国内的黄金投资产品的杠杆比伦敦金的要小，其一般在1：7到1：25左右，且每手交易量最低在1000克，从当前金价200-300元/克的运行区间上看，每手保证金也要8000-12000元人民币，因此投资者需投入较大本金方可稳住仓位。
从上述国际市场与国内的黄金投资品种相较可知，伦敦金由于杠杆机制采用浮动模式，能通过较小的资金投入，以撬动价值较大的资产收益，这也正是大多投资者都选择伦敦金而不选择国内产品的主要原因之一。
