贵金属止损失效的原因是该交易平台是市价平台，当贵金属的报价没有你所设定的止损价格时，你的止损就失效了。比如说，某时间段里，伦敦金的报价为1244.30，1244.90，1245.99，1249.24……而某投资者的一张做空的交易中所设置的止损价格为1247.00的话，由于市场没有该报价，所以会以市场第一个成交价1249.24止损出场，那么该投资者就多亏损了2.24美元！
