美联储副主席费希尔周一在接受外媒采访时表示，低利率旨在帮助美国经济复苏，不过美国就业快速增长，接近充分就业，但是通胀仍很低。费希尔称，当前的低通胀很大部分是暂时的，这与油价下跌有关，与原材料价格下跌有关，而这些价格在某个时候将会企稳。周一希腊债务问题的紧张情绪再度缓解，市场预计希腊将很快达成救助的新协议，这支撑欧元攀升。市场越来越相信希腊很快将完成860亿欧元新救助协议的谈判，从而避免该国陷入金融崩溃并能继续留在欧元区。
