人民币周二创逾20年来最大跌幅，触及三年新低，因此前中国央行出人意料地让人民币中间价一次性贬值近2%， 激起一系列反应，不少分析师认为货币战争的阴影渐近。金价连续第四天收涨，在中国政府意外决定贬值人民币的情况下金价收涨实属不易。美国原油期货周二结算价为逾六年最低，此前中国安排人民币贬值，令投资人对全球第二大原油消费国的石油需求产生疑虑，而石油输出国组织(OPEC)的预估显示，尽管油价低迷，但非OPEC成员国可能将保持高产量。
