纽约联储周二公布的数据显示，美国9月纽约联储制造业指数持续暴跌，且距离上个月触及的2009年4月以来低位附近，因新订单和出货急剧减少，此外该行业的招聘逾两年半来首次下降。
数据显示，美国纽约联储9月纽约州制造业指数从为-14.7，与8月的-14.92变化不大，8月为自2009年4月以来最低。
值得注意的是，该数据高于零，则表明行业扩张。
数据还显示，就业指数降至负6.19，为2013年1月以来纽约州制造业招聘首次下降。8月为1.82。未来景气状况指数也变差，由8月的33.64降至23.21。
数据公布之后，华尔街日报评论称，此次纽约联储制造业数据是六个月中该指数第四个月出现下滑，尽管经济学家普遍预计9月会出现反弹，但在8月份意外大幅下滑之后9月份并未出现改善；纽约联储称，包括物价获得、新订单及就业指数在内的大部分分项指标仍稳稳处于收缩区间。
