伦敦1月29日 – 一份产业报告周四显示，印度2014年取代中国成为全球最大黄金消费国，但全球实货黄金需求下降。该报告预测，最近两年不断下跌的金价将在今年触底。
汤森路透旗下的黄金矿业服务公司(GFMS)分析师撰写的报告显示，去年中国的黄金需求下降逾三分之一，降至866吨的四年最低水平。同时中国的废金供应量却增长了21%，达到182吨的高位。
报告指出，经济成长放缓和反腐行动导致中国的黄金首饰需求降至608吨，比上一年“惊人”水平减少33%。实物金条需求减少53%，降至171吨的五年低位。
