2013年一年，俄罗斯黄金开采量为248.8吨，在世界排名中排在第三位。2014年，俄黄金开采量增长约9%，达272吨，排名也上升一位，成世界第二大黄金开采国。
在2014年的榜单中，排名第一的是中国，开采量达465.7吨。澳大利亚位列第三，出产黄金269.7吨。
2014年全球黄金开采量增长2%，达3109吨。而全球市场供应量实际没有变化。
