极端组织“伊斯兰国”(ISIS)近几日在与库尔德武装的战斗中失利后，日前又重新发起攻势，对叙利亚政府军及库尔德武装同时发起了攻击。
该组织寻求重新夺回主动权，攻进了库尔德武装占据的土耳其边境附近的小镇Kobani以及政府军占据的东北城市Hasaka。此外，叙利亚南部的反抗力量也发起了攻击，试图将政府军赶出德拉市（Deraa）。
事实上，在ISIS发起进攻前，库尔德武装势如破竹，深入到了ISIS实际总部拉卡（Raqqa）的50公里内。
美国、欧洲及阿拉伯盟国自去年以来一直在轰炸“伊斯兰国”目标，以寻求击败该组织。
ISIS上月连连获胜，在叙利亚和伊拉克攻占了多个城市。库尔德武装在叙利亚取得的最新胜利再次扭转了战局，但ISIS通常采取在一地失利时就转战他地的战术。
美国为首的联盟周四(6月25日)对Hasaka及附近与土耳其接壤的Tel Abyad镇的ISIS目标发动了空袭。
