上周末希腊与其债权人继续有关改革计划的谈判，尽管希腊方面语气乐观，但债权人则表示，另外还需数天时间才能完成改革清单的准备工作。据消息人士透露，如果不能从欧洲伙伴国那里得到资金，希腊政府到4月20日将无钱可用。
为继续获得融资，希腊承诺采取一系列改革措施，以增强经济竞争力和公共财政的可持续性。
这些改革计划先要经欧盟执委会、国际货币基金组织(IMF)以及欧洲央行审查，然后才会提交给欧元集团批准，从而为发放下一笔贷款铺路。
希腊方面表示，已经在上周五(3月27日)提交了改革计划。这些举措的目的在于将2015年国家收入增加30亿欧元，但没有包括会带来衰退的举措，比如进一步降低薪资或养老金。
希腊总理齐普拉斯(Alexis Tsipras)上周六(3月28日)表示，他不会和欧洲撕破脸，之前希腊向其金主提交了一份改革清单，以获得亟需的资金。
齐普拉斯领导的左翼政府2月同意一项延长纾困融资协议，尽管援助已冻结，但现在必须就一套改革举措达成一致，以避免破产。这份改革计划周五已经提交给欧盟-国际货币基金组织(IMF)债权人。
随着协商开始，希腊财长瓦鲁法基斯对周日Vima报纸表示，改革不会包括提高增值税，但会调整收税方式。希腊海岛增值税偏低，因此一直担心上调增值税。
瓦鲁法基斯成为外界猜测的焦点，因之前《德国画报》称，希腊政府一位消息人士表示，他辞职只是时间问题。但齐普拉斯表示，瓦鲁法基斯是“政府的核心人物之一”。
此外，在希腊极力筹资之际，希腊副总理德拉加萨基斯表示，希腊将在几周内出售比雷埃夫斯港口的多数股权，立场较此前出现反转。
希腊官员在访问中国期间，德拉加萨基斯暗示，中国中远集团成为希腊67%政府持股的有利竞争者。
随着希腊寻求填补国家资金缺口，俄罗斯驻希腊大使对Kathimerini报表示，如果希腊提出贷款请求，俄罗斯将予以考虑。
齐普拉斯将在4月8日到访莫斯科，与俄罗斯总理普京会晤，但希腊政府强调其无意寻求从俄罗斯取得融资。
