印度或以原料方式进口黄金

根据最新报导显示，印度黄金贵金属加工商MMTC PAMP总经理Rajesh Khosla近日接受采访，谈论了目前印度黄金市场的状况。
MMTC PAMP预计到2015年加年加工黄金100吨，将为印度节约2,500万美元。而按照目前的金价，2,500万美元差不多意味着印度进口黄金规模增加2万盎司。
Khosla称，印度每年进口的差不多1,000吨黄金中，仅仅150吨是黄金碎料，因此对MMTC PAMP这样的加工商而言，目前还仅仅是个开始。
“每年全球的黄金产量在3,000吨左右，其中俄罗斯、南非和中国就占了约1,000吨，但这些国家是不允许出口黄金原材料的，它们希望在国内完成加工增加额外价值。这些国家都有大的加工厂。”
Khosla称，很多西方国家的黄金加工厂都在关闭，黄金加工在向发展中国家转移，而非洲由于安全问题并不适宜，印度相对是更好的选择。
印度政府在去年为控制经常账户赤字而对黄金采取了进口限制措施，对此，Khosla说：“每100吨黄金原材料能生产80吨处理好的黄金，我们计算下发现，100吨进口黄金原材料平均能减少2,500万美元的进口。之前我们买处理好的贵金属现货，那么价值附加就被别人所获得了。”
