中国已开始通过上海自贸区直接进口黄金

在上海黄金交易所国际版正式开始前，各家银行目前已经试运行直接将黄金进口至上海自贸区。这被认为将使得中国具体的黄金进口量变得更为神秘。
此前中国大陆主要是通过香港进口黄金，在大陆不公布进口具体数据的情况下，香港的出口数据成了重要参考。
据全球贸易信息服务系统的数据显示，中国在今年第一季度至今进口黄金增至大约150吨。这一数量较一年前近乎翻番。
这一数据还不包括一些不提供具体黄金贸易数据的出口国。
德国商业银行(Commerzbank AG)的分析师Carsten Fritsch说：“如果黄金能通过上海进入中国，那么要根据香港的数据来估计中国大陆的需求就会变得很困难。”
上海交易所将在上海自由贸易试验区设立上海国际黄金交易中心，组织安排黄金、白银、铂金、钯金等贵金属产品和相关衍生品交易，并提供相应的中介服务。
据消息人士透露，各银行已经开始通过自贸区进口黄金。该消息人士说：“在国际版正式开始后，上海将扮演更重要的角色。”
据另一位消息人士称，上海黄金交易所的官员要求银行通过上海进口黄金。在第一季度通过上海进口黄金可能是对自贸区金库的试运营。
第一季度中国大陆自香港进口黄金287吨，尽管直接进口到大陆的黄金数量还不及这一数字，但其跟随的步伐已经越来越快。
