中国掌控全球黄金市场“钥匙”

近日有外国媒体称,中国去年的私人黄金需求量创下1132吨的最高纪录,世界黄金协会预测该国的黄金需求到2017年将增长20%。
美国黄金资讯网站4月28日发表题为《中国手握黄金市场的钥匙》的文章,作者为美国环球投资公司首席执行官弗兰克·霍姆斯。文章称,我们正在见证中国成为世界第一大黄金市场。
作者认为投资者有必要弄清楚这一巨大增长背后的主要推动因素。
第一,新兴的中产阶层有更多的钱用来消费。
文章称,世界黄金协会最近发布《中国金市:进展与前景》报告称,中国的中产阶层在过去10年间兴起,他们的收入比过去提高了。随着国内生产总值(GDP)开始增加,人们也开始购买更多的黄金首饰与金币。此外,随着人们设法规避通胀风险,对黄金的投资需求也增加了。
第二,需求最大的仍然是黄金首饰。
上述报告还重申,出于习俗原因购买黄金的力量仍然是巨大的。习俗因素与避险因素是黄金销量大增的两大推动力。亚洲文化对黄金情有独钟,消费者年复一年地购买黄金首饰和金币,节日和庆典期间的黄金礼品需求会增长。
2004年以来,中国的金饰消费量增长了两倍。2013年,中国超越印度成为世界最大的金饰消费国和生产国。
第三,工业需求的重要性日益增强。
文章称,中国GDP的增长同样推高了黄金的工业需求。世界黄金协会说,电子设备是黄金工业需求的主力。黄金用在手机、电脑和电路板中,最近汽车业对黄金的需求也在增加。
上述报告说:“尽管制造商总在设法降低零部件成本,但在优先考虑性能(特别是安全性)时就不能用便宜的材料取代黄金。”
而采矿业资讯网日前报道,中国已开放北京为该国又一个黄金进口口岸。这显然说明还会有更多的黄金流入中国。无论如何,中国都是黄金需求将保持强劲的力证。
