印度今年一季度黄金进口同比有望翻番

据印度政府的官方预估，2014年3月该国的黄金进口规模将升至近50公吨，为去年5月印度央行(RBI)限制黄金进口以来的最高水平。分析师表示，3月黄金进口主要的增长来自月末。
印度海关上月公共的数据显示，印度2月黄金进口规模继续增加，达33公吨。多数业内人士预计，2014年一季度印度的黄金进口规模将是去年四季度的两倍。
随着现货黄金在3月中旬从高位回落，同时印度政府此前暗示未来会放宽一定的黄金进口限制，市场预计在随后一段时间内该国黄金进口仍将维持在较高水平。
由于2013年4月贵金属暴跌，印度国内的黄金进口曾触及历史高位，但这也带动该国经常帐赤字(CAD)持续膨胀。随后印度政府便将黄金进口税上调至10%的历史最高水平，并限制国内进口商进口黄金。
不过，近期印度央行曾发布声明，确认允许五家私人银行进口黄金，此前只有国营银行及代理商才有资格进口黄金。
