印度CAD大幅收窄 1月黄金进口有增

据印度官方数据显示，2014年该国1月的黄金进口规模增加至38公吨，从2013年8月的3公吨低位大幅反弹。
此前去年12月的黄金进口规模为25公吨，11月为19公吨，呈递进式增长。这意味着短期印度可能不会马上放宽黄金进口管制。
尽管印度的黄金进口正在持续回暖，但政府也不得不将面对经常帐赤字(CAD)再度走宽的压力。2013年由于4月和5月的黄金进口规模激增至300公吨，导致CAD过度膨胀，印度政府随后将黄金进口税上调至10%的历史高位，而印度央行(RBI)也颁布的80:20条例，意味着印度黄金进口商必须将20%的进口黄金用作出口用途。
数据显示，在印度政府和央行的双重限制压力下，去年8月印度的黄金进口仅为3公吨，推动该国CAD大幅收窄。
然而，在去年11月和12月印度黄金进口再度走高后，印度央行强化了80:20的黄金进口条列。其在最新的公告中称，印度进口商的第三次黄金进口规模不得高于此前两次出口量的2-5倍。
印度政府希望将2013-2014财年(截至今年3月份)的经常帐赤字控制在450亿美元，2012-13财年的CAD为882亿美元。
全印度珠宝首饰贸易联盟(All India Gems & Jewellery Trade Federation)主席Haresh Soni周三表示，“自去年4月1日起，当前印度已进口515.65公吨黄金。但如果政府的管制不解除，今年3月为止总进口规模不会超过550公吨。”
周三印度国内的黄金溢价已经从一个月前的100-120美元/盎司稍稍回落至80-120美元/盎司。
