银价下跌 刺激白银销量创佳绩

《Kitco News》12月16日报导，ANZ Research商品策略专家Victor Thianpiriya指出，2013年银币销量可望创下新高，除了银价下跌刺激消费者购买之外，最大黄金消费国印度因为政府推出多项限制措施抑制黄金消费，民众转而以白银作为替代，也是刺激全球银币销量的主因之一。今年以来，包括美国铸币局、澳洲伯斯铸币局，以及加拿大皇家铸币局等的银币销量均写下极佳的成绩。
美国铸币局今年银币销量已经在11月中创下新高，首度突破4千万盎司，超过2011全年所创下的3,986.85万盎司的销量。美国11月鹰扬银币销量虽然较前月3,087,000盎司减少25%至2,300,000盎司，但累计1-11月销量达到41,475,000盎司，平均月销量达到350万盎司。12月至今，鹰扬银币销量又增加了120万盎司。
澳洲伯斯铸币局今年1-11月银币销量累计达779.9万盎司，销量最高的月份是4月的111.3万盎司，平均月销量为70.8万盎司。加拿大皇家铸币局仅公布季度数据，其第三季的枫叶银币销量达到670万盎司，较去年同期的480万盎司增加40%。
Gold Standard Institute总裁、Monetary Metals执行长Keith Weiner指出，今年稍早塞浦路斯所引发的金融危机显示出金融系统的脆弱性，尽管稍后危机已经缓解，但消费者以及投资人对于银行系统的不信任度已然升高，这也促使更多人选择持有像银币这样有实质价值的货币。
《Scrap Monster》12月5日报导，Thomson Reuters GFMS发布的报告指出，受到政府限制措施导致黄金供应短缺，以及银价下跌带动消费的影响，10月份印度白银进口量较前月的241公吨增加40%至338公吨，创下三个月以来新高。累计1-10月份，印度白银进口量达到4,652公吨，如果维持这个速度，今年全年的白银进口量预估将达5,200-5,400公吨，此将超过2008年所创下的纪录高点5,048公吨。
