美国鹰扬银币销量创历年销售新高

彭博社11月12日报导，美国铸币局（US Mint）本周表示，今年至今美国鹰扬银币的销量已经超过4千万盎司，达到40,175,000盎司，创下了历年的销售新高。洛杉矶贵金属交易商Lear Capital执行长Scott Carter指出，银币的零售需求非常强劲，包括银价下跌以及美国政府关门等不确定因素，令银币的吸引力大增。
银价较今年六月底所创的34个月新低已经反弹14%，部分投资人认为银价已经落底而提升进场意愿；尽管如此，今年以来银价仍大跌31%，可能写下自1981年以来的最大年度跌幅。金价的表现也同样疲软，今年以来金价下跌24%，将写下自2000年以来的首个年度跌幅。美国鹰扬金币今年至今的累计销量则是达到771,500盎司。
美国铸币局局长彼得森（Richard Peterson）此前表示，2013年该局金银币的销售量可能创下新高纪录。彼得森预估，今年该局金银币的销售总量很可能达到创新高的4,500万枚，高于2012年的3,500万枚。基金公司Pure Funds执行长Paul Zimnisky表示，除了现货黄金投资与避险需求之外，作为工业金属的白银也有望受到中国需求改善的提振。
中国国营研究机构安泰科报告预估，2013年中国白银需求将增长10%达到创新高的7,700公吨，主要是受到投资保值的需求所带动。中国白银消费有三分之一来自首饰与银币，其余则包括摄影工业、太阳能产业以及电子产品等。
