加拿大魁北克省矿业部门投资将减10%

《THE CANADIAN PRESS》10月29日报导，加拿大魁北克省统计局预估，今年该省矿业部门的投资可能将年减10%至约46.3亿美元，将是十年来的首度下滑。该省统计局官员Raymond Beullac指出，整体矿业部门的情势有些令人失望，世界各地的矿业投资也都有所下滑，但称魁北克省的两大商品黄金与铁矿石仍表现强劲，有助于缓和整体矿业投资下滑的趋势。此外，虽然该省今年的矿业投资下滑，但仍是史上第二高的水平，仅次于去年的51.2亿美元。
加拿大出口发展公司（EDC）报告表示，2013年加拿大金属矿与金属制品的出口可望年增18%，2014年增长速度则预期放缓至4%。报告称，连续多年高涨的金属价格带动了金属产业的投资，本年度将有更多的新增产量进入市场，是带动今年出口的主要因素。EDC虽然是加拿大的官方出口信贷机构，但按照商业规则进行运作。智利铜矿委员会（Cochilco）报告称，加拿大、澳洲与智利是全球前三大最具铜矿投资吸引力的国家。该报告收集了各国投资环境、铜矿储量和投资额等数据综合评量。其后的排名分别为美国、墨西哥、哥伦比亚、巴西、秘鲁、赞比亚、中国大陆、阿根廷、蒙古、巴布亚新几内亚、厄瓜多以及民主刚果共和国。
根据知名矿业和金属咨询机构Brook Hunt与智利国铜的预估，2012-2021年间，智利铜矿项目投资额将达780亿美元，居全球之首，秘鲁铜矿投资将达630亿美元，加拿大将为470亿美元，美国、墨西哥和阿根廷分别为190亿、120亿和110亿美元。
SNL Metals Economics Group报告指出，2012年全球非铁金属（有色金属）探勘投资的前五大国家分别为加拿大、澳洲、美国、墨西哥与智利。
