蒙特利尔银行认为白银工业前景乐观

加拿大蒙特利尔银行在近日举行的首届白银协会会议上称，白银在工业需求增长方面面临挑战。出席这次会议的有白银生产商、精炼厂、交易员、分析师和投资者。
蒙特利尔银行表示，白银的工业需求前景不容乐观，不仅是因为市场存在白银的替代品，而且银价的波动导致了使用偏好降低。
该行还表示，生产商和终端用户在白银对冲方面的活动仍然处于低迷状态；白银交易所交易基金方面，类似黄金ETF的重大抛售应该不会出现；供应增长中期看来预计将超过工业和消费需求的增长；成本曲线预计不会给白银价格提供支撑，因为全球矿产三分之二的供应都是副产品。
