行情回顾：美国两党虽然达成了财政协议，但是市场担忧情绪未解。日内欧洲时段市场一度传闻惠誉下调美国评级，市场对此反应剧烈，美元骤然下挫，黄金大幅飙升涨幅一度达40美元。
【基本面】
汇丰银行17日发表第四季投资展望，汇丰(台湾)银行个人金融暨财富管理事业处资深副总裁庄怀德指出，对于黄金维持中立看法，今年底前金价区间看1,250-1,450美元/盎司。
美国劳工部10月17日公布，经季节调整后，截至10月12日为止当周，首次申请失业救济金人数较前周修正值减少15,000人至358,000人。根据彭博社的调查，经济学家的预估中间值为33.5万人，预估区间介于30.1-38万人之间。上周首次申请失业救济金人数的4周移动平均值较前周修正值增加11,750人至336,500人。
受美国政府关门冲击经济成长、联准会(FED)可能会因此将量化宽松货币政策(QE)减码时机延后至明(2014)年的影响，美国长天期公债殖利率10月17日续挫，而国库券殖利率则在短期违约风险解除的带动下回落至正常水位。这是国会打破协商僵局、同意让政府于10月17日重启并暂除举债上限以来，债券殖利率连续第2日走软。
立场偏向鸽派的芝加哥联邦储备银行总裁Charles Evans 17日在威斯康星州Madison郡发表演讲时指出，由于政府关门导致一系列经济数据无法如期出炉，因此FED应该延后QE的减码时机。他说，只有从数据才能看出美国经济的进展，而整体货币政策应该会在未来一段时间内维持高度宽松的立场。Evans今年在联邦公开市场操作委员会(FOMC)拥有对货币政策的投票权。
费城联邦准备银行(Philadelphia FED)17日公布10月份当地制造业景气判断指数，自前月的22.3下滑至19.8。指数呈现正值代表当地制造业活动增温，反之则为萎缩。据彭博社调查，经济学家原先预期指数将下滑至15。
费城制造业景气指数已连续5个月维持在正值以上，即使10月稍有下滑，但还是优于市场预期，意味着制造业扩张动能并未受政争太多影响。制造业约占美国12%的经济产值。
【技术分析】
日图显示，黄金目前已经再次突破8月高点以来的下行趋势线，若后续持稳该线上方并站上布尔带中轨，或将确认金价扭转8月份以来的跌势。
小时图显示，金价刷新日内高点1320后削减涨幅，目前交投于下行趋势线上方。
操作建议：
由于预期金价将扭转跌势，投资者可尝试建立多头，若在目前位置做多，建议止损于小时图布尔带中轨1285，而若符合预期后续或有较大的上行空间。
