FED褐皮书:美经济转好 黄金价承压下跌

联储局(Fed)4日发布新一期「褐皮书(Beige Book)」指出, 7月至8月底止,美国经济维持温和扩张,主要在于家庭不畏借贷成本增加,持续增加对汽车消费与不动产投资。
FED预定于9月17至18日召开货币决策会议,FED乐观认定美国经济持续好转,似乎正在为量化宽松(QE)退场预作铺陈。截至美东时间下午3时05分,十年期美债殖利率上涨4个基点至2.89%。
FED表示多数分行辖区消费支出都有增加趋势,主要反映汽车以及房屋类资材需求强劲,住宅与非住宅类不动产活动均有温和改善。
12个Fed分行中有8个分行形容经济成长和缓,波士顿、亚特兰大、旧金山等三个分行表示经济微弱扩张,而芝加哥分行则表示经济状况转好。
褐皮书显示美国经济力道较为强劲,刚好足以巩固美联储将开始缩减经济刺激规模的前景,令黄金承压。黄金现货盘中跌1.27%,暂报1394.1美元。
知名投资者麦嘉华(MarcFaber)表示,黄金市场的信心已经恢复,目前相对看多;但金价已将出现过一波大涨,因此他认为现在价格将小幅回档下跌。
德国商业银行(Commerzbank)商品分析师Eugen Weinberg表示,“长期我们继续看涨黄金,不过短期黄金的上行动力可能遭到限制,因上方阻力异常强劲,同时眼下的实物金需求也无法对金价构成足够的支撑。”
大田環球貴金屬分析师指出,回看历史,每次非农前公布的ADP和初请数据,都被市场看作为衡量非农好坏的重要前瞻性指标。若这些数据显示就业情况良好,或将暗示周五(9月5日)的非农数据亦将强劲,美联储于9月中旬缩减QE的可能性将大幅上升,并继而提振美元指数,打压金银。
