開倉：又叫建倉。是指投資者開始交易，在黃金投資中，如果看漲，因此而買漲，或者因為看跌而買跌，都叫做開倉。
平倉：指投資者結束交易，即在一次交易中，買多之後賣出或者賣出之後買入。
爆倉：每個平台都會設置一條臨界線，其依據為投資者的賬戶餘額與保證金之間的某個比例。當投資者產生虧損，從而使賬戶餘額減至觸碰臨界線時，系統為保安全起見，就會強制關閉交易，這叫做爆倉。
鎖倉：當投資者入場後，發現市場走勢不如預期，想暫停交易以免爆倉，但又不想終止交易，因此在相反方向上多做一張單，以抵消原來的單，使其不受市場走勢所影響，此為鎖倉。
輕倉：進行交易的倉位有分輕重，而輕倉是指入場交易的資金佔自己總資金的比例較低，對自己負擔較輕。
2、與費用有關的術語
在投資時，投資者還會可能遇到一些費用，而以下這些術語都與費用有關。
點差：買入價與賣出價的差價。點差費是平台收取的常見費用。
