美國服務業趨軟，幫助金價站穩反彈
昨日現貨黃金價格延續上周震盪回落走勢，最低一度下探至1940美元/盎司附近位置，但由於美國服務業放緩，疊加市場對美聯儲6月份暫停加息的預期升溫，晚間金價出現大幅度反彈，截至目前為止整體價格已經重新反彈回1960美元/盎司附近。
強勁的經濟令加拿大央行下一步行動存疑
今年1月，加拿大央行成為首家暫停加息的全球主要央行，但自那以來加拿大經濟出人意料的強勁表現，將在本周考驗該行行長麥克勒姆保持觀望態度的決心。若回歸加息模式，將引發人們的疑問，即央行在不導致經濟陷入混亂的情況下，能把借貸成本調到多高？在2022年3月至今年1月期間，加拿大央行已累計加息8次，使利率達到15年來的高點4.50%，儘管如此，貨幣價格的快速上漲未能給過熱的經濟降溫。Capital Economics副首席北美分析師Stephen Brown表示，在樓市快速好轉和4月CPI意外上揚後，這種韌性提振了央行再次加息的可能性，他們現在認為該行加息的可能性比不加息更大。
美國5月服務業意外趨軟
美國5月份服務業幾乎無增長，因新訂單放緩，推動企業投入物價指數降至三年低點，這可能有助於美聯儲對抗通脹。資料還顯示，美國4月工廠訂單連續第二個月上升，但除了國防訂單激增外，整體製造業活動疲軟，這與顯示該行業目前處於長期低迷狀態的民間調查資料相一致。
供應管理協會(ISM)週一表示，美國非製造業採購經理人指數(PMI)從4月份的51.9降至上月的50.3。該指數高於50表明服務業在增長，該行業占美國經濟的三分之二以上。經濟學家此前預測非製造業PMI將小幅上升至52.2。PMI仍然高於49.9，ISM表示，這表明隨著時間推移，整體經濟在增長。但該指數上月放緩加劇了經濟衰退的風險。ISM上周報告稱，5月製造業PMI連續第七個月低於50，這是自大衰退以來持續時間最長的一次持續萎縮。
服務業正受益于消費者支出從商品轉向服務。但在美聯儲自2022年3月以來累計加息500個基點後，消費者可能會更加關注基本需求。“自經濟重啟進程開始以來，服務業的勢頭一直非常強勁，但該行業現在顯然正在降溫，”富瑞金融集團(Jefferies)的美國經濟學家Thomas Simons在一份報告中寫道。Simons觀察到，拋開12月份的一次性疲軟資料和2020年春季疫情開始時的下降，過去三個月的ISM資料是2010年1月以來最弱的。服務業新訂單指數從4月的56.1降至上月的52.9。隨著需求降溫，服務業通脹也放緩。這對試圖將通脹率降至2%目標的美聯儲官員來說是個好消息。服務業處於抗通脹鬥爭的中心，因為服務價格往往更具粘性且對加息的反應較弱。服務業投入價格指數從4月的59.6降至56.2，為2020年5月以來的最低水準。
