激進加息難阻反彈勢頭，黃金價格衝擊1700關口

美聯儲副主席佈雷納德9月30日稱，她完全支持美聯儲為抑制通脹而制定更長期的加息計畫，表示貨幣政策的重點是在高通脹環境中恢復價格穩定。她認為，加息導致金融狀況收緊，但其全面影響要在經濟中發揮作用，並降低價格壓力，這需要時間，為確保通脹正在回到目標水準，美聯儲致力於避免過早退出加息。

9月份的密歇根大學消費者信心調查發現，公眾對未來五年的通脹預期降溫。長期通脹預期相對穩定表明，公眾對央行最終實現通脹重回2%的目標充滿信心，也有望緩解美聯儲繼續保持激進鷹派政策必要性。
佈雷納德也指出，目前美聯儲加息目標點尚不清楚，“不確定性很高，圍繞週期目標範圍的適當目的地有一系列估計。”美聯儲將不得不摸索前進方向，研判加息是如何在整個經濟中發揮作用的，並將在未來的政策行動中延續數據導向的行事風格。
