美元持穩黃金創近三周新低，抛儲不及預期布油大漲3%
周二(11月23日)美元指數基本持穩，稍早觸及96.61，為去年7月以來最高水平；美元兌日元四年多來首次升破115。隨著美元與美債收益率走高，黃金期貨錄得連續第四個交易日收低，並跌破重要心理價位1800美元關口，創約三周以來的最低水平。美油漲逾2%，創出兩周最大漲幅，因為石油消費國聯手釋放戰略石油儲備的力度沒有市場預期的那樣大。
美國宣布釋放5000萬桶戰略石油儲備平抑油價
隨著感恩節假期臨近，美國總統拜登23日宣布，美國將釋放5000萬桶戰略石油儲備，以降低油價，解決美國內能源供需不匹配的問題。白宮表示，美國能源部將以兩種方式釋放戰略石油儲備，其中的3200萬桶石油將在未來幾個月內進行交易，並在幾年後返回戰略儲備庫存。而此前已獲國會批準的1800萬桶石油，將加速銷售。
美國總統拜登：經濟仍然面臨挑戰
拜登表示，新冠挑戰導致物價上漲。石油生産國增加供應的速度不夠快。釋放戰略石油儲備將提供所需的供應。將采取必要措施降低汽油價格，汽油公司增加收入是不可接受的。
而美國能源部長Granholm也提到，拜登準備使用所有工具以應對能源價格。拜登的行動導致油價跌10%。供需之間不匹配。美國正在運行的石油鑽井平台減少250個。正在努力提高能源公司的産量。希望確保油價不被人為擡高。
