美國相關數據不及預期，金價短線小幅上漲

9月3日，美國方面公佈了市場密切關注的8月ISM非製造業PMI數據，但數據顯示不及市場預期，在數據公佈後，現貨黃金短線小幅度上漲，目前非農數據成市場最大關注點。
具體數據顯示，美國8月ISM非製造業PMI實際公佈56.90，預期57，前值58.1。
其中分項指標，美國8月ISM非製造業就業指數實際公佈47.90，前值42.1。
隨著製造商和服務提供商的客戶需求回升，私營部門的商業環境進一步改善。值得注意的是，在經歷了五個月的下滑後，服務業企業銷售再度增長，這是一個可喜的消息。然而由於衛生事件和即將舉行的美國大選所帶來的不確定性，對明年產出的預期將較7月略有下滑。
分析指出，對美國經濟復蘇前景的評估也必須考慮疫情的影響。與疫情前相比，當下企業和消費者會預期未來疫情更有可能發生，從而對其行為模式產生影響。一個明顯的變化是美國消費者的消費支出相比過去減少，而儲蓄率大幅上升，對感染病毒的恐懼也令旅行、娛樂等服務行業復蘇更加艱難。
分析指出，研究顯示疫情大流行通常會導致消費需求、物價和利率水準下降，分析預計新冠肺炎疫情可能會壓低長期中性利率約0.67個百分點，這意味著美聯儲今後貨幣政策調整可能會更頻繁地陷入零利率政策困境。
在剛剛結束的美聯儲年度經濟政策研討會上，美聯儲主席鮑威爾宣佈對現有貨幣政策框架進行調整，稱美聯儲將尋求實現2%的平均通脹目標，更加側重實現充分就業，以應對美國經濟結構性變化和疫情帶來的新挑戰。
在新政策框架下，當美國通脹率低於2%的水準一段時期後，美聯儲可能會採取適當貨幣政策致力於提升通脹率，使其“適度”高於2%的水準一段時間，相當於一種靈活形式的“平均通脹目標制”。同時，美聯儲未來貨幣政策決策會更加側重考慮美國經濟未實現充分就業的程度。
