金價大跌，風險情緒正在轉變

3月4日，黃金創下新低，因美元強勢走高，打壓黃金走勢，同時中美貿易談判的樂觀預期持續影響市場，風險資產也表現出色，股市大漲，黃金的避險需求大幅下滑。同時黃金市場中期頂部成為現實，面臨重要關口。
在上周五的暴跌後，週一(3月4日)黃金市場多頭似乎仍未回過神來，依然表現低迷，金價跌破1290美元/盎司的支撐。上周黃金市場遭遇去年8月以來表現最差單周，大跌超2.5%，從接近1330美元/盎司的水準跌至1290上方，失守1300整數關口。
雖然美國總統特朗普一直主張美元走低，數次批評美元過強，但對整個市場而言，美元仍然是一個極佳的避險資產。就在上周六，特朗普又一次在演講中打壓美元，但美元卻更加強勁。
在馬里蘭州舉行的保守派政治行動大會(CPAC)上，特朗普表示：“我希望美元堅挺，但是我所希望的美元(匯率)是有利於我們國家的，不是堅挺到讓我們難以和其他國家做生意的、難以競爭得過其他國家的。”
黃金仍然是部分由美元走勢驅動的。我們預計美聯儲不會在上半年加息，並且市場一直在消化今年晚些時候降息的預期。因為美聯儲可能更加中性，這或導致金價短期內走低。
那麼可能會發生什麼呢?至於美國的相對實力，情況正在改變。根據花旗(Citi)的數據，美國經濟意外指數(economic surprise index)最近的下跌幅度，使其相對於歐元區同行的優勢收窄至去年9月以來的最低水準。這是否意味著美國和歐元區收益率息差的上行空間有限，還有待觀察。
在金價大跌的同時，黃金ETF的持有量也出現了大幅下降，顯現出投資者情緒的轉變。SPDR黃金ETF持有量在上周五大跌1.5%，是2016年12月以來最大的單日跌幅。目前該ETF已經把今年1月的增持量全部回吐，年初至今出現了1.5%的淨流出。
商業對沖頭寸亦支持黃金當前處在中期修正階段的觀點。基於截至2月19日收盤的數據，黃金商業對沖者持有淨空頭合約166,477份，為近一年來的最高水準。與此同時，CFTC報告顯示的交易員持倉亦被認為利空金價。
伴隨著中美貿易談判的樂觀預期持續發酵，風險資產表現出色，股市大漲，黃金避險需求大幅度下滑。以A股為首的股市，大幅反彈，帶動了亞洲股市以及歐美股市的表現，並且大宗商品也表現強勁，黃金受到冷落。
