現貨黃金截止至2020年08月29日3：00收盤于1966.7美元/盎司，金價上週五亞盤開盤後持續震盪反彈，並在歐盤短暫測試1955美元/盎司一線壓力後，美盤直接向上突破，又打破近期大級別寬幅震盪區間的跡象，現價段現貨黃金價格交投于1970美元/盎司一線。現貨白銀震盪反彈，報27.49美元/盎司。
日本首相安倍辭職：8月28日，日本在任時間最長的安倍首相證實，由於健康狀況惡化，他打算辭職。不過，分析預計日本的通貨再膨脹政策將繼續下去，認為安倍辭職對日本經濟影響較小。
強颶風撲向美國能源重鎮：上周受颶風影響，以及美國EIA原油庫存連續五周下降影響，提振油價出現沖高，創3月上旬以來新高。但由於颶風打擊小於預期，且全球新冠疫情持續，令油價上漲幅度受限。
