颶風或導致120億損失 黃金1910支撐強勁
現貨黃金截止至2020年08月26日3：00收盤于1928.4美元/盎司，金價昨日亞盤時段震盪反彈，但上方1937美元/盎司一線壓力效果良好，金價於午間開始震盪走低，直接回踩1914美元/盎司一線測試支撐，隨後空頭未有進一步動作，金價重新反彈回1920-1930區間內，現階段現貨黃金價格交投于1927美元/盎司一線。現貨白銀震盪，報26.48美元/盎司。
美國7月新建住宅銷售資料走高：美國7月新建住宅銷售竄升至近14年來最高水準，因抵押貸款利率降至低位，幫助推動了市郊建築開工活動。資料顯示，新建住宅折合年率銷量環比增長13.9%，達到90.1萬套。調查經濟學家預估中值為79萬套。售價中值同比上漲7.2%，至330600美元。新建住宅銷售在新冠疫情期間大幅增多，因為貸款成本降至歷史低點，而二手房供應短缺。
強颶風撲向美國能源重鎮：蘿拉颶風將迅速加強，以三級颶風形式登陸德克薩斯-路易斯安那州沿岸，該地區的經濟損失最高可達120億美元，美國12%的煉油產能或將關閉數月。美國國家颶風中心表示，蘿拉已經導致海上石油和天然氣的生產中斷，煉油廠和出口碼頭關閉，當地員工被強制撤離。這將是自2018年的邁克爾以來，第一個襲擊墨西哥灣的主要颶風。
