拜登遠端接受提名 黃金大幅刷新高點
現貨黃金截止至2020年08月06日3：00收盤于2039.8美元/盎司，金價昨日早間站上2000大關口後迅速回踩，下方2010美元/盎司一線提供有效支撐，金價受支撐重拾漲勢並進一步刷新歷史高點，雖然價格在觸及2055美元/盎司後，暫時放緩漲勢，但目前金價有站穩1240美元/盎司跡象，現階段現貨黃金價格交投于2042美元/盎司一線。現貨白銀震盪走高，報26.93美元/盎司。
拜登將遠端接受民主黨總統候選人提名：美國民主黨全國代表大會委員會5日發表聲明說，已經鎖定該党總統候選人提名的美國前副總統拜登將在其家鄉特拉華州遠端接受提名。聲明稱，考慮到美國新冠疫情正在惡化，為保護各方人員健康，2020年民主黨全國代表大會的演講者將不會前往威斯康辛州密爾沃基市，拜登也將不再前往。拜登將在其家鄉特拉華州發表全國講話，並接受民主黨總統候選人提名。
黎巴嫩港口爆炸造成巨額經濟損失：據阿拉比亞電視臺5日報導，貝魯特省長瑪律旺·阿布德在接受媒體採訪時表示，貝魯特港口爆炸造成的經濟損失可能高達100億至150億美元，港口爆炸造成了30萬黎巴嫩人流離失所。截至當地時間5日21點，貝魯特港口爆炸已經造成至少135人死亡，5000多人受傷，另有數十人失蹤。
