國際現貨黃金截止至2019年8月21日1:00報1504.7美元/盎司，美盤時段最高價為1508.5美元/盎司，金價歐美時段再次發力回到了1500上方，不過整體仍是震盪局面。現貨白銀報17.12美元/盎司，白銀同樣保持震盪下行。
市場聚焦全球央行年會：市場焦點將轉向週末於美國懷俄明州傑克遜霍爾舉行的全球央行年度研討會。其中最受關注將是美聯儲主席鮑威爾對貨幣政策的評論。目前投資者普遍預期美聯儲將在9月政策會議後再度降息至少25個基點。
默克爾緩解硬脫歐氣氛：紐約時段盤中，英鎊兌美元短線突然加速上漲90點，默克爾在講話中談到了當前市場最為關心的話題，北愛爾蘭擔保協議的問題。默克爾稱，擔保方案是政治宣言的問題，與脫歐協議無關，沒必要重新進行談判。而有關擔保協議，我們將考慮切實的解決方案。
