利好消息不斷 金價節節攀升
國際現貨黃金截止至2019年1月3日02:00報1283.9美元/盎司，隔夜最高價為1288.5美元/盎司，節假日後金價保持強勢，整體處於高位震盪當中，市場避險情緒仍在蔓延。現貨白銀報15.56美元/盎司，白銀同樣出現小幅升勢，但稍遜黃金。
黃金延續上月強勢：黃金延續上個月末以來的強勁勢頭，刷新逾半年高點，因投資者的風險偏好較低，美指一度逼近上日錄得的逾兩個月低點。邁入新年的首個交易日成交仍清淡，市場謹慎情緒彌漫，擔心全球經濟增長乏力、美國政府關門以及美聯儲加息步伐放緩。
英鎊繼續出現走弱：英國公佈12月製造業PMI創六個月新高，英鎊兌美元短線走高，但隨後又走弱。因為這一改善並不預示著英國經濟前景將出現重大變化，這很大程度上是由製造商囤積投入和成品造成的，這兩項指標都接近歷史最高水準。
