國際現貨黃金2018年10月29日14點整收盤於1233.6美元/盎司，現貨黃金開盤小幅反彈，最高價為1235.3美元/盎司，隨後回落，壓盤時段波動幅度暫時不大，整體處於震盪格局當中。
美國“生命之樹”猶太教堂遭襲擊：當地時間10月27日上午，美國賓夕法尼亞州匹茲堡市郊一所被稱為“生命之樹”的猶太教堂發生槍擊事件，美國總統特朗普表示，進行此類襲擊的人“應該付出終極代價”接連不斷的暴力事件在中期選舉來臨之際上演，美輿論指責特朗普的煽動言論導致了一系列的暴力事件。
“巴西特朗普”當選總統：10月28日，有“巴西特朗普”之稱的右翼候選人雅伊爾·博爾索納羅贏得過半有效票，當選巴西第44屆總統，博爾索納羅誓言他將“改變巴西的命運”，其將於2019年1月1日就職。
