貿易爭端抑制能源需求：10月22日亞盤盤中，全球貿易爭端抑制能源需求，油價此前連續第二周下跌，承壓於70美元下方。投資者未來一周可能繼續關注全球供應，儘管有跡象顯示美國原油庫存增加，但美伊新一輪制裁迫在眉睫。
美欲“單極世界”遭譴責：當地時間10月20日美國總統特朗普當天指控俄羅斯，一再違反美蘇在1987年簽署的《中程導彈條約》，揚言除非俄羅斯願意簽訂新協議，否則會終止有關條約，並帶領美國重新發展核武。針對美方的指控，俄方也很快予以駁斥。俄媒引述該國外交部消息指，美國退出協議目的是要塑造一個“單極世界”。“俄羅斯已多次公開揭露美國所奉行的撕毀條約的方針。美國已為此準備多年，故意而且在一步一步地破壞條約的基礎。”
