現貨黃金看漲情緒高企：10月16日亞洲時段，現貨黃金暫時於1228美元/盎司附近交投，由於美國經濟數據表現不佳，避險情緒較高，金價基本守住了過去一周的漲幅，具體隔夜觸及的兩個月高位相去不遠，基本面和技術面短線依然偏向利多後市，但仍需留意1235美元/盎司一線的強阻力區域的突破情況。
美國沙特意外走到反目邊緣：在沙特記者哈蘇吉失蹤事件中，美國總統特朗普表示若沙特真牽涉到此事，將對沙特進行制裁，而利雅得誓言反擊稱拒絕任何威脅，無論是經濟制裁、政治壓力還是反復的誣陷，受此影響，石油市場處於緊張狀態，市場認為沙特是在含蓄地威脅要使用原油作為武器。
