國際現貨黃金截止至2018年9月05日14:00報1193.5美元/盎司，最高價為1194.5美元/盎司，最低價為1190.9美元/盎司，金價整體走勢偏弱。現貨白銀報14.12美元/盎司，白銀表現則更加低迷。
美聯儲大概率年內加息兩次：美國經濟持續強勁增長，加上今年減稅帶來的額外好處，企業利潤繼續膨脹。美國的通貨膨脹率正在接近美聯儲2%的目標，而失業率也在不斷下降。這些經濟情況並沒有為美聯儲暫停加息提供理由。聯邦基金期貨暗示，美聯儲今年再加息兩次的可能性約為70%
早盤回落油價出現大幅修正：亞市盤中，油價走軟。因市場人士認為油市超買，同時風暴向東移動削弱了對墨西哥灣產油的威脅。伊拉克原油產量連續4個月攀升，沙烏地阿拉伯、尼日利亞以及安哥拉等國也表示可以為市場帶來足夠的石油。
