國際現貨黃金截止至3月21日6:00收盤價為1310.9美元/盎司，現貨黃金在昨日整體維持震盪下行走勢，在晚間創近日新低1307.1美元/盎司後快速反彈，但未能扭轉弱勢行情，最終收跌。
鮑威爾迎來首秀：美聯儲利率決議前夕，美元兌主要貨幣均錄得上漲，美債收益率亦走強，反映了投資者對週三登場的美聯儲決議報以樂觀預期。雖然本次美聯儲會議後宣佈加息幾乎板上釘釘，但市場對美聯儲提升通脹預期，並在點陣圖中觀察可能加息的概率均報以期待。同時，美聯儲新任主席鮑威爾將迎來首秀，他在新聞發佈會上所傳達的措辭將同樣備受矚目。
脫歐進程逐步落地：英國與歐盟之間達成脫歐過渡期協議，提振英鎊大漲。市場預計，脫歐過渡期協議的達成，令脫歐前景不確定性大幅降低，並為英國央行加息掃清了障礙。英鎊是去年表現最好的主要貨幣之一，因市場越來越相信將避免無序的英國脫歐。
