在现货白银交易中，我们常常可以从一些投资类的新闻或者专家的分析里听到空头回补一词。而同样的，在贵金属行情中我们有时会看到某些人，不管情况怎样都一味地看涨做现货白银多单，而还有一些人正好相反，不管情况怎样都一味地看空，这些人就是死多头和死空头。而空头回补则恰恰相反，是指投资者在做空的过程中有适当的补单过程。那么，到底在现货白银交易中，什么是空头回补?
一、空头回补的意思
空头回补，是指空头在高位卖出开仓，并且价格下跌到满意的程度时买入平仓，同时造成价格暂时反弹上涨，但不能反弹到原来的高度，相当于空头获利出局。说的简单一点就是，指做空白银行情的交易者认为近期的伦敦金银行情空头市场已经走到尽头，之后的行情可能会出现一定的反弹，因此原本投资者是做空，但在平仓后，反而选择买入做多，这样一来，原来的空头变成了多头，对价格上涨起了推波助澜的作用，让银价在下跌时止跌反弹。简而言之，空头回补，都会帮助银价走高，区别只在于是下跌之后的低位反弹，还是上涨过程中的加速上涨。
二、举例说明。
假设A投资者在白银是1000美元的价位做空，在900美元的价位选择平仓，但当A投资者在平仓之后，白银的行情却开始出现反弹。这时A投资者就买入做多行情，但之后的白银行情最多只能反弹至950美元。那么，在这个白银交易中，先做空卖出再买入做多的过程也就是我们所说的空头回补了。
