移动平均线是投资者做炒白银技术分析常用的指标，但是在实际使用的时候对于采用几天的均线来判断行情经常出现纷争，而多空投指数则是对几条不同的均线采用加权平均计算方法来解决这一问题。
多空投指数是将3、6、12、24天的4种平均指数相加后除以4得出的数值。
(1)计算方法:
BBI=(3日MA+6日MA +12日MA+24日MA)/4。
从该式可以看出，多空投指数的数值分别包含了不同日数移动平均线的部分值，是再次平均的数值，代表了各条移动平均线的情况，是移动平均原理的特殊产物，所以在使用时多重指数的买卖信号基本上可按移动平均线的原理进行操作。
(2)运用法则:
(a)白银在高价区以收盘价向下跌破多空投线时为卖出信号;在低价区以收盘价向上跌破多空投线时为买进信号。
(b)多空投指数由下往上递增，白银价格在多空投线上方，表明多投强势，可继续持仓。
炒白银技术分析没有绝对完美的技术指标，运用之妙存乎一心，每种指标都有其适用的范围，根据情况灵活运用才是正确的方式。
