由于现货白银交易具有双向交易和全天候短线操作的特点，我们既可以做多单，亦可布局做空单，因而锁单的技巧应运而生。“锁单”就是说，在贵金属平台上，投资者入场，找准点位，做两手手数相同，方向相反的单子。接着，投资者静待时机，再对单子进行解锁。
2、为何需要锁单
一方面，投资者在锁单之后，无论行情是涨是跌，投资者都不会产生损益。所以锁单最主要目的就是为了躲避一段没有把握的行情，分不清多空的时段的行情进行锁单从而达到稳健的效果。
另一方面，另一种情况是你未设止损，而你的账户亏损已经很大时不忍平仓，为了防止更大损失或爆仓也可以选择锁损操作。但是，我们需要明白，锁单操作是一把双刃剑，它只是一种权宜之计，建议广大投资者慎用锁单。
二、锁单的技巧
（一）内锁（锁盈）
投资者所下的一个单子是盈余之后，再设置一个手数相同，方向相反的单子，即为内锁（锁盈）。一般来说，投资者会较少使用内锁。因为在盈利的情况下，很少投资者会开相反的仓，而是及时平仓，另开新仓。
（二）外锁（锁亏）
当投资者所下的一个单子是亏损时，再设置一笔手数相同，方向相反的单子，即为外锁（锁亏）。
（三）原点锁
原点锁指的是投资者再同一个时点同时布局两手手数相同，方向相反的现货白银的单子。
（四）举例说明
伦敦银的现买价为26.70美元/盎司,朱先生在大田环球贵金属平台上买入1手伦敦银，经过一段时间后，伦敦银上涨了4美元，为30.70美元/盎司。这时朱先生的单子是盈余的，但朱先生再对单子进行锁单，另外卖出1手伦敦银，并设置止盈值为26.70美元/盎司。即可完成锁单交易。
