铂金，是一种天然的白色贵金属，国家规定只有铂金含量在85%及以上的首饰才能被称为铂金首饰，并必须带有pt标志。
铂金按含量分，可分为pt850、pt900铂金、pt950、pt990或pt999五种。因此，我们可以知道，pt900是指含铂量达90%的铂金饰品，其余10%为其它贵金属，印记为pt900。pt950指含有95%铂金成份的饰品，其余5%为其它贵金属，印记为pt950。
