1.见势不对，反戈一击
有时跟市买卖，但入市时已经接近尾声。例如，在多头市场上买入后，市价却牛皮不展。不多久，市价回档急跌。这是不要惊慌，不要以为市场在针对你，与你过不去。最好反思一下，立即斩仓，反戈一击。
2.小心大跌后的反弹和急升后的调整
在贵金属交易市场上，价格的急升或急跌都不会是一条直线的上升或一条直线地下降，升得过急总要调整，跌得过猛也要反弹。当然，调整或反弹的幅度比较复杂，并非容易掌握。若例如像黄金价格出现一天急升5%，宁可决定伦敦金锁仓，也不宜冒然跟市，以免跌入陷阱。
3.逆境时，最好“休息一会”
作为投资者，整天注视着荧光屏上的报价，精神处于极度紧张状态。如果有盈利，当然有一点满足感。一旦亏损，甚至连连失误，就会头脑发胀，失去清醒和冷静。这时，休息一会是最佳选择。
4.要学会“顺势而为”
贵金属买卖不同于股票买卖。人们在买卖黄金时，常常片面着眼于价格而忽视金价的上升和下跌趋势。当金价上升时，价格越来越贵，越贵越不敢买；在价格下跌时，价格越来越低，越低越觉得价格便宜。因此在实际交易时常常忘了“顺势而为”的格言，成为逆势而为的错误交易者。
在价格上升的趋势中，只有一点是买错的，那就是价格上升到顶点的时候。金价犹如从地板升到天花板，无法再生。除了这一点，任意一点买入都是对的。
在价格下跌的趋势中，只有一点是卖错的，那就是价格跌到最低点，犹如落到了地板，无法再低，除此之外，任意一点卖出都是对的。
5.尽量使利润延续
缺乏经验的投资者，在开盘买入或卖出某种货物后，一见有盈利，就立即想到平仓收钱。获利平仓看起来似乎很容易，但是捕捉获利的时间却是一门学问。以黄金为例，有经验的投资者，会利用伦敦金技术分析，决定平仓的时间。
如果认为金市走势会进一步朝着对他有利的方向发展，他会耐着性子，从而使利润延续。一见小利就平仓不等于见好就收，到头来搞不好会盈少亏多。
6.处境不明，不沾为宜
当你感到金市的走势不够明朗，自己又缺乏信心时，以不沾为宜。如果自己感到没什么把握，不如什么也不做。耐心等候入市的时机。如果已经开盘，大有“食之无味，弃之可惜”的感觉时，不如平盘离场。切勿过份计较得失，冒无把握之风险。
