一、什么是固定点差？
所谓固定点差，是指交易平台提供点差报价基本上是不会发生变化的，除非出现特大事件或行情。
二、 什么是浮动点差？
所谓浮动点差，是指交易平台提供的点差报价是一个浮动的值，会切合实际的市场需要进行报价，有时会低于固定点差，有时会高于固定点差。
三、 两者的区别
（1）不同点
固定点差差值基本保持不动；浮动点差差值会根据市场调整买卖价差。
（2）共同点
在高风险或重要数据，行情波动十分剧烈时，无论是固定点差或浮动点差都会扩大点差。
举例：比如美国突然出现恐怖袭击，造成交易市场极度恐慌，大批投资者把资金涌入黄金市场避险。这时，黄金的价格就被大幅提高。原本报价系统是1200、1200.1、1200.2…这样依次进行报价，但是由于市场波动太过剧烈，造成报价突然从1200跳到1200.7，这样买价与卖价之间的差价就会扩大，点差自然也会扩大。如果这时固定点差还是保持0.5，就会造成交易订单因为扫损而无法入场，因此在这种炒黄金跳空的特殊交易行情下，即便是固定点差也会扩大，为的是保证投资者的利益，确保订单可以顺利入场交易。
而至于固定点差和浮动点差哪个好？总的来说，固定点差可以锁定交易成本，缺点是没办法调整；浮动点差是可以调整，缺点是没办法控制调整的范围。所以，小编认为对于点差账户的选择，还是要切合个人的需要和对于投资风险的偏好而定。
