点差是伦敦金做市商平台，包括银行、民间投资公司等机构，在各地定价盘市场综合出一个具体价位之后，再根据这个价位划分为两个报价，分别是买入价和卖出价，且不管金价运行到哪个位置，始终以两个报价显示，当中的价差就称之为点差，因此点差是每个面向投资者提供伦敦金交易而客观存在的一个差价，也是支撑平台经营的主要盈利来源。例如当前伦敦金报价为卖出价/买入价：1331.6/1332.1 美元/盎司，当中有0.5美元的差价，就是点差。
伦敦金点差的算法
比如金商要买入黄金，他的出价为945.0美元/盎司，他同时卖出黄金，报价为945.5美元/盎司，那么，中间的差价就是他的利润，如果你想要买入黄金，那么你就得以945.5的价格来买入，如果你想卖出黄金，那么你就只能以945.0的价格卖出。
