一般来说，挂单交易主要是用于大行情中，比如是波幅通常都在10美元以上的行情。非农行情一般情况在短短的十几分钟之内都会有10美元左右的波幅，数据与预期相差较大时甚至都会有20多美元的波幅，波动最小时应该也会有5美元以上的波幅。因此在行情方面，非农数据公布之夜是完全可以满足挂单交易的条件。
如果行情太小，没有一个明显的趋势。即使设置了挂单，也容易无法达到成交的价格而被强制取消挂单。
不同平台挂单的区别
对于限价平台，系统会严格按照投资者设置的挂单价格来进行交易，固投资者把握住基本面和结合技术分析确定一个入场点位就可以了，无需担心其他风险。
而市价平台，当市场伦敦金出现跳空的现象，刚好越过了投资者设置的挂单价格，系统会按照跳空出现的第一个价格来进行交易。这样交易的价格，和投资者一开始设置的价格并不符合，可能造成亏损，不可控制的因素比限价平台多。
