从K线图上可以看到相邻的实体矩形。其包含的信息有开盘价、收盘价、最高价、最低价。
这些实体矩形中，一种叫作阳烛，另一种叫作阴烛。如何判断哪个是阳哪个是阴？当收盘价格大于开盘价格就称之为阳烛，反之则称为阴烛。当然，也可以从MT4上矩形实体的颜色来判别，黑色的为阳烛，白色的就为阴烛。
从上下影线来判断伦敦金的走势
从矩形实体上，有时候会看到上下边串出两条垂线，其叫作上下影线，代表这个时间段，伦敦金曾经达到的最高和最低价格。影线蕴含了伦敦金价格的走势信息，一般情况下，上影线越长，伦敦金的价格越不容易上涨，同理，如果下影线越长，伦敦金就越不容易下跌。
从阴阳烛的位置看伦敦金走势
一般情况下相邻的实体矩形开盘价承接着上一个时间矩形的收盘价格，但有时，相邻的实体矩形其开盘价和收盘价格会出现一段距离，此现象称为跳空。一般情况下，假设黄金价格一直在上涨，突然出现了一个跳空的阴烛，如果在短期内无法弥补跳空的空位，意味着伦敦金的走势将要发生大逆转，投资者需要重新部署投资战略。
