合约杠杆
伦敦金每手合约的交易数量一般随着平台的不同而不同，现在市场上的合约中，有1手100盎司的，也有1手400盎司的，亦或是600盎司，那么从合约来看，我们可以看到一个交易数量的杠杆为1:100/1:400/1:600。这个杠杆，可以扩大我们账面上的盈利，即每手交易，伦敦金价格波动1美元时，我们能赚100/400/600美元。
资金杠杆
资金杠杆是由于保证金机制而产生的，其原理是通过小资金抵押来赚取大的利润。拿大田环球伦敦金产品举例，其伦敦金每手交易的保证金是1000美元，那么若伦敦金当前价格为1100美元/盎司，那么其资金杠杆就是1000:1100*100=1:110。这种保证金固定的合约中，资金杠杆是会随着伦敦金价格的变动而变动的。
从上述介绍中可以看出，看实际盈利的杠杆要看交易合约的单位，而若要看可以缩小多少倍的投入资金则需要看保证金要支付多少。杠杆越大，代表着投入资金越小或交易交易的单位越大。
