日内黄金持续反弹，美国经济数据继续疲软情况下，贵金属避险进一步得到提振，黄金继续呈现强势反弹。美国经济周期研究所(ECRI)周五(5月18日)发布报告称，衡量美国未来经济增速的一项指标最近一周小幅下跌，但其增长年率有所改善。同时，美国商务部公布的数据显示，美国3月工厂订单自下降1.5%修正为下降1.9%，3月耐用品订单从下降4.0%修正为下降3.9%。巴克莱资本(Barclays Capital)分析师周五(5月18日)表示，黄金现货支持的交易商交易产品(ETP)持仓有所上升，此前该产品连续四个交易日下降。
